Flash-O-Rama animations are better than other  "blinker animations" at this site.  Flash-O-Rama animations have optimum timing and are sorted by colors.  A couple of clicks, and you get what you need.

Each "base color" is paired with 47 "other colors."  If you pick white, for instance, you will be taken to a page with 47 animations: pink-white, blue-white, red-white, etc., wherein the "other color" is dominant and white appears only when the animation blinks.

Pick "white blinkers" for white backgrounds and for most other colors of background.  Yellow and aqua "blinkers" look good against any background.  Black blinkers look best against a black background.
